When you meet that certain person in your life and discuss your dreams and future together, sometimes there's a special go-to spot. For Crystal & Ysh, it was Bernal Heights Park, a huge hill nestled on top of the Bernal Heights neighborhood in San Francisco. It was here that they talked about their plans for their respective careers, and how they would navigate their relationship moving forward since it involved being physically apart. They called this, "the beginning."
It was also here that they spent a lot of time with their dog, Zeke! We always encourage all our couples to include their fur babies whenever possible. They're a part of your family!
From here, we moved on to Lake Merritt in Oakland to continue their fairy tale, to signify the culmination of the effort and sacrifices to work on themselves so that they could have a future together. After many years apart due to going to separate schools in the Bay Area and SoCal, they finally were able to be together and continue their story. It's also here that they will tie the knot at the Cathedral of Christ the Light.
Crystal & Ysh are also known among their family & friends as the life of the party! The session wouldn't be complete without a toast with Jameson. Needless to say, taking a walk around Lake Merritt became interesting - more laughs, more silliness, and lots of love! It was also cool to see the vibe of the Lake, with many bystanders and passersby congratulating our couple. It never gets old, and we love that love gets acknowledged and celebrated. Cheers!
In a few months, they tied the knot at the Cathedral of Christ the Light. Such a fitting conclusion to their session here, to show where their life would be headed next.
