It's always an honor...
...photographing our long-time clients and watching their families grow in front of our lenses! We've been capturing the Gonzales Family photos for the past 12 years, from only having 2 boys in the family to having 3, to when their eldest was only 3 years old and is now in high school. We're always in awe at how quickly time flies, and children are always a great reminder of how fleeting the moments can be in our lives.
Crissy Field in San Francisco is part of the Presidio, a former army base by the Golden Gate Bridge that is now a National Park. Here, one can often see locals walking their dogs or jogging on the trails with the Golden Gate Bridge as their backdrop.
Nothing says "dad" more than a little rough housing with the boys!
Not sure how this started, but this has become tradition when we take their family photos. N does this pose with the boys, but every year, it's getting more difficult to do since the boys are getting bigger and older!
Although the focus is on the family during these types of sessions, we can't forget the parents-only photos. Sometimes, we get the awkward looks when we do these, and we get it - it's most likely been awhile since parents have gotten their photos taken without the kids. But let's face it, without the parents, there wouldn't be the kids, so it's always nice to celebrate being a couple, right? Sort of like having date nights with your spouse. :) Even after 16 years of marriage (at the time we took these photos), G & N, you both still got "it!"
